The College of Communication & Information has placed great importance on quality academic advising and provides a variety of advising resources to students throughout their academic career. It is highly recommended that all students meet with an advisor at least once each term.

The Advising Center

The Advising Center in the College of Communication & Information serves undergraduate students throughout the college, including those who are interested in admission to the School of Communication as well as students who have been accepted as majors. Students who have been accepted should log on to Blackboard for updates.

Advising Center Hours of Operation & Policies

The Advising Center is open from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The Advising Center operates on primarily an appointment based system. Appointments can be made by phone or through Navigate on the myFSU platform. For Drop In or Walk In Appointments, no appointment is needed. The Advising Center is located in University Center C on the 4th floor.
