Students who take full advantage of the opportunities and assistance offered by various offices and departments throughout the university are the most likely to have a pleasant and successful academic career here at Florida State University.

Student Advising helps students stay “on map” for their degrees. Making regular appointments with student advisors — and keeping them — keeps the process rolling along smoothly.

Internships help you show prospective employers what you can do.

Service Learning is a great way to help your community while helping build your resume.

The Career Center offers lots of great assistance from internships to job placement.

The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) is a university learning center that provides tutoring, study skills instruction, and a wide array of academic support services to undergraduate students.

Clubs & Organizations let you start to build networks that you can rely upon for years, and often they provide opportunities to practice the skills you’re developing for the marketplace.

FSYou! is your guide to navigating the university and all its systems.

Money shows you the resources available for financial assistance.

The School of Communication also participates in a number of Academic Exchange Agreements, allowing students to take a semester at a partner university with coursework counting as FSU credit.  We also offer a semester in London through FSU International Programs.
